About Apizza Regionale
Apizza Regionale is a pizza restaurant in Syracuse, New York. It is listed at 260 Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13202, which places it among the local businesses of Syracuse that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under pizza takeout, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11:30 amβ3 pm. It is closed on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (315) 802-2607. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, apizzaregionale.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 1,593 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Syracuse and suggests consistent service.
Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Recommended by hubby's co-worker who has been working here for the past year (Syracuse job). Pizza is hubby's weakness π , but we love Italian food, therefore, we gave it a try. The decorations and the atmosphere is wonderful as an Italian restaurant. The brick oven stood out right as you enter the place and we did not have to wait long before we got a table. Hubby and I shared the Antipasti Salad and the Garlic & Broccolini whole wheat pizza for this meal. The food got here very quickly and the quality is amazing! The seasoning for both the salad and pizza are light yet full of flavor! We really enjoyed it! We traveled to many cities including NYC & Jersey City, as well as our hometown Atlanta eating at various famous Italian establishments. This one is definitely on the top of the ranking in our book for the taste! π We highly recommend this place and will return again when we visit Syracuse, NY, either for work or possibly for leisure.... π

Dare I say the best pizza in Syracuse? Yes, because it is! The crust is like no other and the pizza is as good as it gets on this side of the pond. Highly recommend the Apizza as well as the Garlic and Brocolloni. They also have great seasonal salads. The beet salad was a bit small but was extremely delicious.

All of it is wonderful. If youβre going to get an appetizer, I highly recommend the arancini. Think of it like a mozzarella cheese ball with risotto. One of these days Iβm just gonna order a bunch of them and nothing else. For an entrΓ©e, you canβt go wrong with a brick oven pizza. They cook them perfectly and theyβre all great. They keep a very small menu so they are not overloading the customer with choices and in my opinion, theyβve really honed in on quality for each of the options. I did send back the lamb sausage pasta. Not a fan. I also really wanted to like the ramps pizza, but it was way too much garlic. I think the idea of an egg on pizza is absolutely delicious though. The Calabrian and the margherita pizzas are chefβs kiss. For dessert: I always get the chocolate hazelnut budino with almond brittle. This time we also tried the pistachio crΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e, and wow. The service and the food and the atmosphere are just so wonderful. Theyβve really made us loyal customers.

Loved everything about this place, the food, the setup, and the overall vibe. We tried four different wood fired pizzas and antipasto with chicken, and everything was spot on. The chicken was especially good. Highly recommend giving this place a try, and donβt skip the pistachio crΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e, you wonβt be disappointed. Weβll definitely be back!

How in the world did Syracuse become so blessed to have a wood fired brick oven pizzeria on this level of magnificence? The pizza dough is excellent, every topping is farm fresh from the garden and everything on the menu is an absolute delight! Make sure to stick around for the housemade desserts. The pistachio creme brulee is out of this world as is the chocolate hazelnut bundino! Ask for Mona if you want top notch service, fabulous suggestions, and a wonderfully friendly, smiling face! If you travel anywhere near this city you absolutely must pay homage to this excellent establishment!
